The 2019 Kindle Oasis eReader arrived in early summer 2019 with new enhancements. In terms of design, this reader has an original format, with a flat square shape on the front. The 7-inch (17.7cm) screen is located on the left side of the model. The part on the right can be used as a handle to hold the reading light. The 2 buttons on this side allow you to change the pages of the book. In use, this arrangement is well suited and is appreciated by users. The position of the thumb makes it easy to navigate through the pages of the digital book. The decrease in battery is related to the level of brightness used and the lighting temperature. It also takes into consideration, if the WIFI is on, and 4G (for the equipped models). In autonomy of use, it also means that you can use the reading light, even in your bath or by the pool. The Kindle Oasis reader has been designed to resist splashing water or accidental falling in a swimming pool for example. It is classified IPX8, to resist immersion in fresh water for 60 minutes, up to 2 meters deep.
A large storage capacity The Kindle Oasis 2019 reader that we tested has a storage capacity of 32GB. This represents approximately 32,000 digital books. The cheapest model has a capacity of 8GB, or approximately 8,000 electronic books. In terms of readable formats, Amazon uses its own operating system. It can read many formats: Kindle Format 8 (AZW3), Kindle (AZW), TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, native PRC; HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP converted.
